Metropol Hotel Moscow

In October 2020, after a long reconstruction, the restaurant SAVVA opens its doors. Just a year later, SAVVA rightly becomes one of the first in Russia to earn a Michelin star – the award of the most famous and authoritative gastronomic guide in the world. In the same year, wanting to bring the legendary culinary traditions and recipes of the hotel closer to Muscovites, the hotel launches a unique product for the hotel business – a premium dish delivery service called Metropol Delivery.

In 2023, the bar “Shalyapin” in the “Metropol” hotel is ready to welcome guests after renovation. The atmosphere of the renovated bar skillfully blends eras: an exquisite early 20th century hotel and a modern cocktail bar create a new concept of the Grand Lobby & Bar space. The cocktail menu of the bar was created in collaboration with one of the most awarded bars in Europe El Copitas Bar (included in the international ranking The World’s 50 Best Bars-2021). The basis of the cocktail menu are vivid events from the life of Fyodor Shalyapin, which influenced his creativity and success. The emotions associated with these events, the bar team tried to reflect through the taste qualities of the drinks.
